We stopped here for an Ice Cream and a rest after viewing the German Cemetery this afternoon. Our hostess was lovely, taking my (empty) water bottle and refilling it without even being asked. Her English is also excellent. The ice Creams were competitively priced and delicious and the cafe a beautifully quiet spot to eat them. By chance, this lady later passed us walking back down the hill to our bus stop and pulled over to give us a lift. This one of a kind generousity touched us greatly and we are so thankful to have met such a friendly and welcoming native.

The best service i’ve ever had, the lady working here is such a kind person she was so sweet and nice she gave us water and said that we could use the bathroom to wash our faces. It’s super or here u can sit under the trees and watch the beautiful views on the olive trees and sea. This was truly one of the greatest moments on Crete. I only ever write reviews for places that i really like so this is the one to visit.

Outstanding service in a peaceful setting. Birds chirping and cats playing with views of olive orchards down to the sea. The owner/ operator is a real gem and I'm glad to have had the pleasure of meeting her. Can't ask for much better than this.

The best Greek salat ever!!! We made a rest at the cafe before visiting the interesting cemetery. A very very friendly woman , speaking very good English and German said welcome to us. We got good refreshments and the absolutely best Greek Salat that I ever got - and I travel in Greece since 1979 and the last 20 years every year …. The cheese was beautiful smart, there were many delicious olives between the tomatoes, curcumas and paprikas and the olive-oil was a sensation. Also the dark farmer’s bread was very good. Don’t miss to visit this little cafe or kiosk or taverna when you are visiting the cemetery! We’ll go there again before leaving Kreta!
